Need to transfer money quickly and securely?

Wire transfer is the fastest way to move funds quickly and securely across the country or around the world. Unlike automated clearing house (ACH), which provides next-day transfer of funds, wire transfers can provide same-day transfer if completed before the cut-off time.

Wires may be sent for any amount.  For wires of $2,500.00 or more, Sky Federal Credit Union procedure requires that you come into a branch location to sign or have your signature notarized if outside the office.

Some fees apply — please refer to our Cost Recovery Schedule Disclosure.

All wire recipients must pass through an Office of Foreign Assets (OFAC) screening. If there are any suspected OFAC violations, the funds may be suspended or canceled per government regulations.

For incoming foreign wire transfers, Sky Federal Credit Union does not have a SWIFT Code, IBAN, or other international routing code, nor do we have a correspondent financial institution. You are able to wire funds directly to your Sky FCU account using the instructions below. In order for a financial institution outside the U.S. to wire funds to a Sky FCU account, they must do so through a U.S. correspondent financial institution that they have a relationship with. They must have a SWIFT Code which is used to identify financial institutions for international wires. Sky FCU only receives wires through Millennium Corporate Credit Union and the Federal Reserve. In order for a financial institution outside of the U.S. to wire funds to a Sky FCU member, they must pass the wire through a U.S. correspondent financial institution.
