Sky FCU has a Mobile Banking App!  We have added within our Mobile Banking App a Locations option.  Under Locations you will find addresses and maps to Sky FCU ATMs Locations.  In addition, there is a button called Search CO-OP ATMs, this feature allows you to enter your location and it will locate the nearest surcharge free CO-OP ATM!

Another option, if you have an Android or iPhone, you can download the free app by visiting the App Store.  Just search for “CO-OP ATM locator” and begin the download.

Another easy way for you to find any of the CO-OP Network surcharge-free ATMs is via text messaging. Whether you are traveling across town or across the country, surcharge-free locator access is in the palm of your hands.

It’s quick and easy! Here’s how:
1. Send a text with your current location – address (including city, state), zip code or intersection – to 692667 (MYCOOP).
2. Within a minute, the service will send you a reply with the nearest CO-OP Network surcharge-free ATM to that location.
3. Need additional locations? Text “more” and the service will send the next nearest ATM locations.

This is a free service, only standard text messaging rates as set by your mobile carrier apply.

Please be aware that surcharge fees are dependent on the institution that owns the ATM terminal. If you are using an ATM at another institution please be sure to read the message on the ATM screen that notifies you of any charges you may receive.

 

Do I still need an ATM card?

 

No. Your Sky FCU debit card will act as your ATM card. You simply enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) into an ATM terminal and you can withdrawal cash from your accounts, anytime, anywhere. Our debit card can be used worldwide wherever VISA® is accepted. If you only have a savings account linked to your debit card you will have the capability to access ATM’s only. You will not be able to make purchases unless the card is linked to a checking account. ATM withdrawals and purchases will appear on your monthly statement.

 

How do I activate my card?

 

You will need to call 1-800-411-6390 (1-206-352-3477 Outside the US and Canada) to activate your debit card. For security reasons, your card cannot be used until you make this call. This service is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will need the following information to complete verification:

For ALL Debit Cards:

Last 4 digits of the cardholder’s Social Security Number
Date of Birth for the cardholder

How do I change my Personal Identification Number (PIN)?

 

You can customize your PIN number by calling 1-877-746-6746. This service is also available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What do I do if my card is Lost or Stolen?

 

Report Lost or Stolen cards immediately by calling us at 1-800-445-3328 or the card lost or stolen service at 1-800-682-6075 (1-206-352-3482 Outside the US and Canada) or by going to the website >www.reportmycards.com. This service is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

In addition to the Fraud Center monitoring all Sky FCU cardholders are able to signup for smsGuardian™.

For Your Peace of Mind – Text Alert Fraud Prevention

We’re looking out for you! Sign up for our new smsGuardian™ service and you’ll receive text messages regarding activity on your credit and debit cards. If you receive a text about a transaction that you think is fraudulent, you can reply immediately and your card will be blocked from further criminal activity.

Feeling safer already? Give smsGuardian a try. You can enroll any Sky Federal Credit Union cards in this service. You may choose to receive text alerts on a single cell phone or tablet, or up to ten different devices. Visit our enrollment website at https://www.cardguardian.com/CardGuardian/signon.do?fid=D6 to register your credit/debit cards and mobile devices.

Here’s an example of what the service looks like in action. You might receive a text message similar to this:

Guardian Alert on card 12341 at XYZ Store2 for $500.003. Reply AA1234NO if unauthorized. Reply STOP to cancel alerts.

  1. This will be the last four digits of your card number
  2. This will be name of the merchant
  3. This will be the purchase amount

If you receive this message and you know the purchase is legitimate, you don’t need to do anything. If you think that it’s fraud, you reply “AA1234NO” and your card will be blocked. You can choose to cancel this service at any time by replying with the message “STOP.”

It’s pretty easy, and very reassuring. Visit our enrollment site today and start enjoying some peace of mind.

A few details –

  • Enrollments will be good for a period of one year. You will be notified prior to expiration of your Guardian account and may text a reply to renew.
  • Changing your mobile service provider may require you to re-enroll your mobile device.
  • The cell phone or mobile device must have the ability to send and receive text messages and the use of “short codes” must not be blocked. Short codes are special telephone numbers, often five digits long, which are used to send text messages from mobile phones.
  • You are responsible for any text messaging fees from your phone or tablet service carrier.
