Sky FCU Annual Achievement Awards
Sky Federal Credit Union will award eight (8) $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to continue their education after graduation. Scholarships are awarded based on community involvement and personal achievement.
Applicants who are not currently members of Sky Federal Credit Union must open an account prior to submitting an application to be eligible. Membership information is available at any Sky Federal Credit Union branch.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted to any Sky Federal Credit Union branch by April 1, 2026.
Our scholarship committee will review and score all applications. The eight applicants with the highest scores will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Please note: Selection is not based solely on academic performance. Instead, the committee considers individual involvement, experiences, and personal achievements. Use your responses to paint a clear picture of who you are.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

Plan to pursue coursework at a college, university, or trade school

Be a member of Sky Federal Credit Union at the time of application submission

Midland Empire Scholarships:
This Scholarship opportunity offers two $1,000.00 scholarships:
- One for a traditional student – which is a graduating high school senior or someone in college with less than a three-year gap since high school
- One for the Ray Harris Memorial Scholarship – non-traditional student – which is someone who was out of school for at least three years and has returned
Scholarship applications should be returned to any Sky Federal Credit Union branch.
