Dear SKYFCU Members, 

To help better protect your accounts and personal information, we will be updating the username and password requirements for Online and Mobile Banking on July 3, 2026.  

The new Username and Password complexity requirements are as follows:  

Username Requirements 

• Minimum length: 8 characters 

• Maximum length: 20 characters 

• Cannot contain: 

• • Your Social Security Number 

• • Your member/account number 

• • Your birthdate 

Password Requirements 

• Minimum length: 12 characters 

• Maximum length: 20 Characters 

• Must include at least: 

• • One uppercase letter 

• • One lowercase letter 

• • One number 

• • One special character 

As a reminder, strong passwords help protect your financial information. We strongly encourage members to: 

• Avoid using birthdays or anniversaries 

• Avoid using children’s names or birthdays 

• Avoid common phrases such as “Summer2026” or “Password123” 

• Avoid using information that could easily be found on social media 

• Use unique passwords that are not shared across multiple websites or services 

• Utilize PASSKEYS when available. Passkeys use biometric authentication on your personal devices and is a strong defense against fraudsters.  

If your current credentials do not meet the new requirements, you will be prompted to update them after the change takes effect.
